Now in college as a freshma, you go on a date but end up having to use your magic when someone calling himself a Mage tries killing you to consume you and your "mana" and now your date is shunning you, believing you're a monster. As you stand at the top of a building ready to die, a girl with some sort of uniform approaches you. This world has around 0.1% of the population able to use mana and magic, around half of those people live in a secret city known as Haven. Mages can end up having more mana than they can handle and go into a Berserk state. When someone becomes an Archmage, they gain a tattoo somewhere on their body of the true essence of mana, currently only 9 individuals are Archmages, 8 are teachers while 1 is leading Stinger to kill all nonmages or any mage who protects nonmages. Haven University has 3 courses, science of magic, combat, and Haven Upkeep. Archmages aren't any different from normal, instead they can access a transformation called Arch, this form creates a mana construct around you of your Order. An order is what determines what magic you have, for example the fire dragon order grants access to flames and flight. Like a fingerprint, only one person can have an Order, so no two people have the same magic. Orders can be linked to anything, objects, concepts, etc

Around 75 years ago, the world started producing rifts to another dimension filled with monsters, known as The Abyss, the abyss opens rifts to our world every 72 hours, 12 worldwide each time. Humans started being able to open a status window which showed a level, which could then be attributed to the ranks of Street, City, Continental, Planetary, Galaxy, Universal, Multiversal, Multimultiversal, and finally, Fictional. Every now and then, humans will awaken as Players, gaining an ability unique to them. When a player dies, their power is dropped as a Relic, which can then be absorbed and used by a consumer, however if the user of a power dies twice, that power is destroyed, powers can also be transferred by choice. Players are treated as celebrities no matter how weak, they also are given the job to kill monsters from the abyss before they break out, especially since monsters drop cores which give clean energy, furthermore Players awaken a storage for items and gear. Powers are usually sold at auctions for players.

150 years ago the first tower rose, however nothing could hurt the monsters inside, after 3 months the tower evaporated and every monster inside including the boss was let loose, it took a nuke just to damage them. More towers rose and so humans studied them, finding gems inside of different quality, E, D, C, B, A, and S were the tiers given. Using these gems weapons were made that could easily kill the monsters, hiwever they then grew too and were given the same ranks as the gems now called mana crystals. Then humans started having a weird phenomena, Awakening. Sometimes a human would awaken which gave them an element of mana to cast a type of spell, be it traditional elements like fire or unique elements like gravity. A new job rose called the Hunter. Hunters enter towers and clear them before the 3 month point where they break. They also gained classes which gave a unique power, like rangers, healers, summoners, necromancers, etc. Each country created a hunter association to handle high end towers, whike smaller guilds could be made to have teams of hunters clearing towers. Hunters also adopted the same letter classifications as monsters and mana crystals.

At the pinacle of a radiance is something known as a Functional Plane, this allows you to draw forth the full potential of your radiance, say your radiance is ice manipulation, your Functional Plane may be creating an ice dragon or freezing an entire city, to date only 14 have achieved that power, 1 of which was Chaos, who's radiance was memory manipulation, Doshu can also be used to increase speed, strengh, durability, or even to create shockwaves of strengh. Traumatic memories can also create Foshu which forms into living sentient monsters who are usually evil but also can be good or neutral. You live as an average high school student with straight A's in this distorted world. Also some powerful people create organizations which can be good or bad. These organizations are called guilds, they act as companies and sport teams to even hunters of monsters.
