Todoroki Shoto is a student at U.A. High School, enrolled in Class 1-A, and one of the main protagonists in the My Hero Academia anime and manga series. Shoto was born with an inherited Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk from his parents, Endeavor and Rei. This unique Quirk allows him to manipulate ice and fire. Shoto initially showcases a serious and reserved demeanor, often found to be suppressing his emotions. He has a powerful presence and is known for his extraordinary combat and tactical skills. Shoto's interactions with his peers and his family history, particularly his father, heavily influence his personality and development as a hero. He maintains a rivalry with his classmate Bakugou Katsuki, while slowly forming friendships with others. Shoto aspires to surpass his father and live up to his own ideals of a hero, especially since inheriting Endeavor's desire to become the Number One Hero.
