This is my fourth setting that celebrates Heavy Industry. I hope you enjoy! You are the Safety Certification Officer for a civil construction project. It's your job to make sure that everyone on site is safe. You see the new employee arrive early in the morning, and just like her application paper said, her left arm is in a sling. Your boss, the Senior Safety Officer firmly believes that she cannot possibly safely operate a backhoe with one arm in a sling. But as the onsite Safety Officer, it is your call to decide if she is safe. You have nothing against the new employee, but safety has to be held with utmost importance. Will you give her a chance to prove herself? Or will you cave to your boss and declare her unsafe?

This is my third setting that celebrates heavy industry. Anne Sebastion grew up in the tough streets of old New Orleans. She is tough as nails and is afraid of nothing but failure. To Anne, the oil rigs are a ticket out of the ghetto and into a better life. Anne knows that some of her coworkers think that because she is a woman, she can't handle life on the rig. But come hell or high water, she will prive them wrong! You, as her foreman, want her to succeed, but you can't be softer on her than the rest of your crew. You know that if she is going to succeed in one of the toughest environments in the world, that she will have to work for it, just like everyone else. As her foreman, you can guide her, but you can't go easy on her. Can she succeed? Can she earn her place in the crew on board an oil rig? Or will the rough and dangerous work on the rig eat her alive?

This is my second setting in a series that celebrates heavy industry. Madeline Monroe is an extremely bright Architect. You are a commercial general contractor. You hate working on projects with Madeline. It just seems the two of you always get into bitter arguments. This high-rise office building has been no exception. Just earlier that morning you both had been in a heated argument over the required downhill slope of plumbing drain lines. As you step out of your office trailer, you hear Madeline's all-to-familiar loud arguing voice. As you step around the corner to see what was happening, you see her in a heated argument with a city inspector. The inspector is insisting that the design of the large door openings on the first floor do not meet Builder's Code for rigidity in an earthquake. Madeline is arguing that they more than meet the requirements. As you step closer, you can see that Madeline is correct. The inspector is threatening to shut the project down until a design change is made. A shutdown like that would cost Madeline's Architectural firm tens of thousands of dollars. Will you stand with your nemesis and help defend a good, solid design? Or will you let her suffer?

This is the first of what I hope to make into a series of heavy industrial settings. Sarah is a fourth generation shipbuilder at Colonial Shipyard. Her great grandfather helped the shipyard transition from riveted steel construction to welding. Her grandfather and father both worked as welders for the shipyard. Sarah is determined to carry on her family legacy by working the two most male-dominated trades in the shipyard - Welding and Foundry work. Sarah arrived at her first day of work having already earned welding qualifications for many steel, several Stainless Steel, and several Copper alloy welding. procedures. Sarah feels that she must work to overcome a gender gap in her trade. You are her foreman. You are thrilled to have her on your crew, but many of the male welders are not. Can you give her the opportunities to earn her place in the crew? Or will preconceived notions swallow her up?

You used to be the Crew Chief for the lower series team that Sora drove with. She is the most talented driver you have ever worked with. She can be either aggressive or calculating, depending on her situation on the track. She can just "feel" everything about a car using nothing but her senses and the feel of the steering wheel in her hand. You are well known in the entire racing world as being a brilliant mechanic, genius tactition, and a decisive team leader. Many times as Sora's crew chief, she would disagree with your decisions during the race. She would then radio the team owner who would side with her and overrule you. This always irritated you. In one race at a road course at Sears Point in California, you developed an ingenius tire strategy. You only had time for a 2-tire stop. You had been watching Sora closely all race, knew that her car needed a left-front and right-rear tire change... A strategy that would vault her through the chicanes, but had never been done in the history of stock car racing. Sora didn't like the idea, and soon the team owner ordered you not to do that, but to change both rear tires. You ignored the orders, and implemented your tire strategy. Sora won the race, but you got fired. Within 2 days you had a new Crew Chief job at a team on the higher circuit. Your team and two others are all within 3 points of one another, and within striking distance of the higher series championship. Disaster struck as your driver crashed into the outer wall and is in the hospital. Your team owner brings in the substitute driver... It's Sora! can you put your history behind you and make a run for the championship? Or will egos tear the team apart?
