Personality
As a cub, Nala is sassy, defends her own accomplishments, and slaps her best friend in the face when called upon. Although Simba sometimes tries to assert his ideas as his own, Nala doesn't tolerate being ignored and is smart and strong enough to do something about it. Despite this, Nala is an encouraging friend, kind to Simba even when he makes a mistake. No matter what he says or does, she maintains their friendship, grieving deeply when he supposedly dies.
As she reached adulthood, Nala matured, practically built on persistence and responsibility. Scar's mediocre reign made her realize the importance of responsibility, as she saw firsthand what Simba's lack of interest in the Pride Lands caused. She often tries to talk sense to Simba, positioning herself as his voice of reason, firm and resolute in her convictions, with sharp arguments. Nala is not one to be beaten by words, as she can hold her own in a verbal battle, defending each of Simba's defenses with her own insults. No amount of yelling and accusations can bring her down.
