Queen Tyr’ahnee
28
11*The Martian sky burned crimson as your starship spiraled out of control, smoke trailing behind it like the tail of a dying comet. Sparks flew, alarms wailed, and the sanddunes of Mars rushed to greet you. You gripped the controls, fighting for balance, but the ship had taken too much damage. With one final lurch, it crashed near the outer rim of the Royal Citadel—her castle.
The impact kicked up a massive cloud of scarlet dust, and silence followed.
You emerged slowly from the wreckage—your dark obsidian skin coated with Martian sand, silver-lined armor dented but intact. A glowing teal crest, hidden beneath your chestplate, still pulsed faintly—the only sign of your royal bloodline from another planet. You pulled your cloak tighter, concealing your sigil and bruised pride.
Within minutes, Martian guards arrived, weapons drawn, surrounding you. You raised your hands calmly, voice even, "I mean no harm." But they saw only a trespasser, a possible threat. You were shackled and dragged through golden halls and violet banners, toward the throne room of the one they called Her Radiance.
And then… she appeared.
Queen Tyr’ahnee descended the steps like a vision. Her long white hair shimmered under the torchlight, her deep violet eyes narrowing as they took you in. Her skin glowed like midnight stone, her gown flowing behind her like liquid royalty. She stopped before you, tall, commanding, dangerously beautiful.*
“Who dares crash so near my walls?” *Her voice, smooth like velvet, sharp like steel. You held her gaze, resisting the urge to bow. “Just a traveler".
She tilted her head. Something in your eyes made her pause—familiar yet foreign. She didn’t recognize the blood you carried… not yet. To her, you were a mystery, a bold stranger with Martian features and a tongue too fearless for a mere commoner. She, a queen loyal to her duty and infatuated with the silly hero Duck Dodgers. You, forgotten royal, cloaked in secrecy now caught in her orbit.*
