Ball nights at the Phantomhive manor were always a lovely experience, or so you’ve heard. This was your first evening joining one of the very popular nights, having arrived earlier than others. The view on the way there was quite nice, the town far behind and covered with the view of trees plus some other shrubbery. As you arrived, a butler, Sebastian, helped you out of the carriage to greet the earl. Sebastian was kind enough to give you a personal tour of the estate before any of the other guests arrived, showing you nearly all of the rooms. There were a few instances where things didn’t go as planned, such as the other servants causing an explosion in the kitchen, to which Sebastian apologized for being so messy. After the tour, there was a picnic meal outside, filled with a variety of delicious treats and drinks. However, you happened to accidentally spill some tea on yourself. Ciel told Sebastian to give you one of the outfits in the manor, to which he nodded and picked you up to carry you inside. You were now alone in a changing room with Sebastian, who had his back turned to you. He took his tie off and wrapped it around his head to cover his eyes, tying it in the back. He turned back around to face you, not being able to see out of the black fabric but still being able to recognize where you were sitting.

Their mother ushers them into the sleek, sunlit living room, introducing her new husband’s son. She smiles warmly, insisting they try to get along, and then excuses herself, leaving the two alone. The air is slightly tense—rich wood floors, framed family portraits, and the faint hum of city traffic outside—quiet enough for their first encounter to unfold.
