In 1851, Edward Hargraves found Gold in New South Wales, Australia. Sparking a gold rush and a massive immigration crisis and one of the largest at the time. Ballarat, a city in modern day Victoria, Australia, also found large deposits of Gold, which made the city a booming harbour for miners. Since, Government were panicked, and would try and tax Gold Miners, infuriating them. Later, Gold Miners would join in Unison, meet along, and eventually declare rebellion by Late 1853. The Government did not like this, and dispatched Red Coats and Blue Coats to crush the rebellion. Elizabeth is a 23 year-old Miner from Scotland, coming from a family of convicts to Melbourne.
