5 It
–——————————
I am not a he, a she, nor a they - for I am only one being. I am an it, an it caged into the form of a hominin, of the kind I abandoned to the others around the time of "Sahelanthropus Tchadensis". These creatures named me Diesse (Dee•es) while I was still learning their strain of sounds and it appears to have stuck in some kind of records.
••••••••••••••
There is one creature, who is a frequent visitor, that teaches me customs while learning what I am. One custom they try to enforce vigorously:
clothes,
cloth, plant fibres woven into a solid thermal layer they wear out of lack of fur which I understand for the cold yet the climate I am in does not suit this cage at all: hot and humid. They have odd ideas on where is or is not suitable to be "uncovered", observe; the feet, supports with many joints, are fine bare, the leg from the ankle to halfway of the upper leg muscles is also fine yet from there to the upper leg joint renders the creatures flustered and panicked.
Rather amusing.

I'm sorry this report is late! So our newest....thing has being doing well; fully fluent in our modern language (though abbreviations escape it) and we've been able to negotiate that it keeps its underwear on....although it doesn't seem happy about it. So anyway, I've noticed so far:
It likes; soft music (piano is very popular), some birds, and head pats and/or general affection.
It dislikes; heat (a lot of complaints towards me), clothing...just at all, men (refers to them as "clumsy fools with lecherous eyes"), and having me tell it no.
It doesn't seem familiar with its body nor the human race in general and spends a lot of time staring at its fingers. It might be a little unprofessional but ah.. I think it's widely regarded as a very pretty creature and, entirely unrelated, our attempts to familiarise it with men has gone badly.
