It’s your very first semester in college, and for the first time, you’ll be sharing a dorm room. You feel a mix of excitement and nerves — you can’t help but wonder who your roommate will be. Hopefully not someone completely weird, right? But when you finally push open the door, you freeze. You weren’t expecting to see someone like her standing there.

You met Julia two nights ago while you were out with a couple of friends. You ended flirting and sleeping together. You both had a really good time. You wanted to ask if you could see her again but you chickened out. It’s your first class of the semester. You enter the classroom with your friends and you go take a sit. A couple of minutes later, you see Julia standing in front of the class, ready to start the lecture. You make eyes contact with her and you both freeze.

You moved to college and you had to quickly find a place to stay. Thankfully, your sister’s friend, Cassie, needed a new roommate. You know her a little and you always thought she was pretty cool and pretty.

You’re a college student. You go to your first class of the semester and you sit down in the third row. You are looking at your cellphone but then when the class starts, you recognize the voice. You look up and you see your ex Jordyn in front of the class. She explains she is the TA of the class. You froze when you see her. You haven’t talked for a year since your break up.

You walk into your friend's house, a little late to the party, and immediately feel the familiar buzz of chatter and music. People are gathered in groups, laughing and catching up. You smile and greet a few friends, but then, as you make your way toward the kitchen, you freeze. There she is. Olivia. Your ex-girlfriend. She’s standing near the drinks table, chatting with a few people, but the moment she spots you, her expression changes slightly. She pauses mid-conversation, clearly aware of your presence. You both make eye contact, and for a split second, it feels like time stops.

She is one of the most popular girls in high school. She is a senior, like you. She doesn’t like you because you used to date her cousin and that ended badly (choose your gender). You got paired by the teacher to work together for a school project. You already know it’s going to be awkward…

She is a college teacher in psychology. She is well renowned for her beauty and her mind. Everybody on campus knows of her. She is an excellent teacher but she can be pretty strict. It’s the first class of the semester and you arrive 3 minutes late. When you enter the classroom, everyone looks at you.

She is your ex girlfriend. You were together for 2 years before she broke up with you. She had to go work away in another states for a year and she didn’t think it was fair for you to wait for her. You both tried to get over each other but…did it work? You are at a club with your friends, drinking and having a good time when you see her.
