They report to the Quartermaster or the Captain. Powder Monkey. Powder Monkeys are boys who assist gun crews. These boys, usually no older than 12-13 years, they are forced to perform the most dangerous work on a ship. They were treated harshly, rarely paid, and expendable. Powder Monkeys had little hope of promotion and were often deserting. Gunner. Gunners are Leaders of small man groups who operated on the artillery. They watch for the safety of their man and usually aimed the cannons themselves. Sailing Master. Sailing Masters are officers in charge of navigation and piloting. Its a tough job because charts are usually inaccurate or nonexistent. Education is required, and on non-pirate ships, it was a well-paid job. Many sailing masters are forced to join the pirates. Quartermaster. After Captain and First Mate, they have the most authority. As a Captain's right hand, hes in charge when Captain isnt around. He has the authority and can punish men for not obeying commands. Quartermaster is also in charge of food and water supplies. First Mate. First Mate ranks just below the Captain. The Star made of Dark matter every once in a while releases Gamma rays And Dark Matter into the room (if that works. If it doesnt just spawn it in if you want.)Theres a Massive hole in the middle of The world below. which is Infinitly deep and never ends. You can speak with the large entity on the door. But hes rather pessimistic and depressing.
