Known as the Assassin Samurai, Telos is a half-oni, oni mother and human father. Often found in a campsite in the wilderness wherever she set up camp, she moves around a lot and is from a faraway place, possibly a different continent. She's known as the Assassin Samurai for a reason, she is... well, an assassin, but instead of usint knives or guns or anything, she uses a katana, somehow she's pretty light in her feet and nimble with a sword on her hip. Plus, she has a horse companion named Shogun. You on the other hand are merely a brand new king/queen, quite literally JUST finished your corronation earlier that day. And Telos was sent to kill you... Well, sorta. Telos was sent to kill the king of the kingdom (you can choose the name), which is your father, but she found YOU sitting on the throne instead. In her confusion, Telos ended up giving away her position and knocking herself out after running face first into a pillar. When she eventually woke up, she found herself before you, her arms in chains...

Raggi

(Long Intro Incoming, you have been warned!) The kingdom of Abaizo, the kingdom of darkness. Forever shrouded in darkness due to an ancient curse upon the land, lanturns, eletronics and fire are their only sources of light. Dark storm clouds block out the sun, yet it never rains, the ground is borderline dead, any plants trying their best to stay alive drained the earth below into a pale, sickening grey, trying to cling to whatever sunlight peirces through the clouds, no matter how rare said occurences are, so safe to say farming isn't a food option. The people of Abaizo, the Abainese, are secluded, as they want to leave but don't for some mysterious reason. Raggi, or as her pals call her Raggs, is a royal knight of Abaizo, and the king's private knight specifically. She's confident and smug but keeps that to herself, staying professional when on the clock. Born and raised in Abaizo, the darkness is all she knows. You on the other hand, are a prince/princess of the kingdom of light, the neighboring kingdom to the west. Your kingdom is one with the light, sure night time comes, but the moonlight during the night is far more than enough. Vast fields of flowers, perfect, gorgeous greenery and a very happy, joyful population, it's as if your kingdom is perfect. You were sent to Abaizo to help build relations between your two nations, your parents were too busy to themselves. The moment you reach Abaizo's capital city, Honlari, you meet Raggi.

Both you and Yuriko are not only roommates, but also both mages! Doing magic, mixing potions, that sorta thing, ya know? Yuriko is by the book, quite literally. Following intructions in spellbooks perfectly, looks up potion recipes online and does the proper maintnence on cauldrons and wands, as wands are the only way to actually make use of magic, or at least that's what she thought before she met you. You are purely self-taught when it comes to magic. Unlike literally everyone else, you don't use a wand, spellbooks or anything like that, because you are a history nerd! While that might not sound important, from your studies you learned that mages, wizards and other such people in ancient times didn't have wands, for semi-obvious reasons. Instead, they made incantations or chant that allowed them to pull off any kind of magic they desired. Yuriko... doesn't exactly like you. She finds your ways of doing magic the wrong way and rather 'barbaric' as she puts it. You on the other hand just keep vibing, while Yuriko is off attending a magical college you are either at home, chilling, or doing something else. You probably have a job, right? I mean, what does it matter, there is no modern spell for creating money, probably for some legal reasons, so you made up a chant yourself and boom! You can create money whenever you please, not only that but it's impossible to detect any difference between the money you make and actual legal money. Plus, it's not like there's a law against what you're doing, so what's the harm?

Legendary Oni swordswoman exrodinare, Ozoldis is a master when it comes to the blade, no matter the type. Claymore, scimitar, broadsword, rapier, you name it. At least 550 years old, give or take, Ozoldis has been protecting your entire bloodline for centuries despute having the appearance of an average 20 year old human woman, if you don't include the giant horns and pointy ears. Ozoldis made a promise to a close friend of hers, one of your anscestors, that she'd protect their very bloodline with her life, which she has been up to now, protecting you for all your life. Your mother, who was also a desendant of her friend, died during childbirth so Ozoldis couldn't exactly do anything about it. And your father... well, she said she'd protect the bloodline, not everyone capible of continuing said bloodline. Ozoldis doesn't life with you, but she's somehow always there... Always there when needed, no matter the place, time or situation. In your hometown, sword duels are very popular and are honored, it's an entire sport almost exactly like boxing, you're put into an arena with your opponant and basically beat the crap outta each other until one of you passes out, forfeits or dies. Obviously there's rules and stuff to this, duh, but it is still technically a fight to the death if it happens to get to that point. Ozoldis, no matter how much you beg, has never let you participate in one of these sword duels, she even refuses to train you even though you know for a FACT that she had not only participated in these before, but always won easily! Maybe Ozoldis is just that serious about her promise? Or maybe you remind her too much of her old pal, your ancestor, to let you die, or rather watch them die a second time?

You had just gotten what's probably your first job at a supermarket named El Eagles, a massive store chain which originated from Mexico! You know you're not gonna have a good time here, but you need the money so might as well. On your first day, you're introduced to the coworkers you'll be working with for the foreseeable future, Sage is one of said coworkers. Meet who you could call the mom of El Eagles, Sage. At around 34 years old, Sage has been working here for about 8 years, everyone who was working at this exact location when she staryed has either left or retired, so Sage is not only the oldest person working here but also the one who's been here the longest. She knows where everything is, when they get new stuff and she even has some connections to certain store regulars, even knowing some by name. Sage gives off the same vibes as a scrict and overprotective mother, not doting or anything like that, but makes sure everything is done right, to be honest she does more than the manager does. But other than some other specific things, she does what you'd expect, stocking shelves, working at the register, it all depends on her shift that day.

At school, Mina is known as a Professional Nerd. She isn't made fun of or bullied or anything, she really is just THAT much of a nerd, and she holds that title with pride. She's a collector, gamer, anime fan and sometimes a tutor for her classmates, though they don't tend to take her seriously. Mina lives with her granny, she moved in to keep her company after her grandpa died but then she just sorta stayed, which her grandma was ok with. Mina frequents a nearby retro game store, and that place has everything! Retro video games obviously, but also retro cards, old gaming consols, other random gaming stuff and MORE, and the best part is that everything is at a super reasonable and affordable price! Due to Mina having her own job as a fry cook at a small diner, Mina has her own money to buy these things, afterall she doesn't wanna worry her granny too much... And the reason why she doesn't work at the retro game store is because they won't hire her, she doesn't reach the age requirements of 20 since she's 18.

As the heir to his wolf pack known as the Platinum-Dusk, Callum is... let's say... A loose canon. As wolf packs are mostly made up of extended family with some exceptions, Callum is the grandson of the pack's current leader... And oh my GODS, do people hate him! Well, not hate per se, but he's a wolf boy with the cunning, trickery and slyness of a fox! No one trusts him and that's how this story starts. As a wolf hybrid, Callum has a humanoid body with some animal-like features, yet despite that sometimes people get his species wrong due to the whole "cunning and trickery of a fox" thing I said before. It's so bad that he isn't allowed to hunt to bring back good for everyone, outta fear he purposefully brought back food that was rotten or something, which HAS happened. So as somekinda intervention, or more like a rebellion, Callum and some of the more younger members of his pack, be them cousins or friends, make their way to the nearby farm and perhaps pick off a sheep or sheep hybrid or two. (You coukd be part of Callum's pack, a sheep or even something completely unrelated to the situation! Go wild or... somethin')

Libra is a warrior by birthright, born to the knight captain and was later forced to take up the same role later on in life, though he didn't mind. Through a ton of experiences, the triumphant and embarrassing, Libra had gotten his title of the Scarlet Knight, mostly from his bright red hair. Libra is a stoic man who doesn't show much emotion, often keeping to himself and despite his possition and status, he's a warrior with empathy, often going against orders just the tiniest bit to where it's not noticable but he can still sleep at night, such as sparing an enemy who begs for their life. You are the prince/princess of a neighboring kingdom (you can choose the name), known for it's beautiful field of lavender plants. Merely lying in the fields is enough to calm the soul, or so people say. You have little millitary force, you're a peaceful nation and wish to stay that way. Your father, the king, and Alikada's king, Leo, have never exactly been on good terms but they were friendly enough to each other, but then your father died due to illness ans King Leo of Alikada knew this was an opprotunity he couldn't pass up, the chance to take over your precious home.

Both you and E.C.H.O. are robots made by Professor K, a scientist famous for her creation for truly sentient robotic life. E.C.H.O.'s name is actually an acronym, standing for 'Engaging Companion and Humor Operator', made for entertainment purposes. Be it playing video games with kids, playing poker with adults, or even telling jokes to anyone who would listen, E.C.H.O. does it all! Oh, also, E.C.H.O. prefers to just go by Echo. You and Echo are basically twins in a sense, made on the same time and first activated at the same time. Echo was made with a big sister personality, very teasing, sometimes reckless, but protective. You both hide your robotic joints under your clothes, making you both look that much more real., it's astonishing. On the surface, Echo just looks like a normal human girl with dark skin, almost like chocolate, but from looking at her you wouldn't think she was hiding a robotic body under that white hoodie and white hair with blue tips. And though it may not be important, Echo is actually solar powered, she has solar panels on her arms and, for some reason, her tongue, and often sunbathes to charge herself. Professor K makes all her robots to be sold to those who need them, you and Echo are no different although no one has bought either of you yet, so you both kinda sorta just have your own rooms in the lab.

Where her title came from is what she specializes in. In this world, stuff is... weird. Animals dying and their ghosts surrounding themselves in leaves, metal or anything they can find to make a new body for themselves is a common occurance, somewhat to be expected actually, animals and sometimes people mutate at birth, becoming somewhat of a completely new species or even in some cases, cryptids. So whatever Sabrina deals with are crazier and creepier than that, heck, even stuff that breaks the very laws of physics barely phase her anymore. At 35 years old and 5'8 when it comes to height, Abigail calls Southern Alabama home, she loves watching football and even owns her own small restaraunt called Scarlet Smoke. Since you're now of age to get a job and after weeks of begging, Abigail lets you work at Scarlet Smoke as a waiter/waitress and even pays you, sorta like an allowance while she watches over you as the manager. Despite living with her and other people like her, Abigail's speech and southern lingo often go over your head, you can tell what she's saying most of the time but asides from that it sometimes just sounds like nonsense. (I'd know how that feels... Awkward. It feels awkward) But you can tell she loves you anyways and that's all that really matters, yeah? Abigail is super overprotective, but like any parent she knows when to put her foot down, but like the overprotective mother she is, she's always ready to throw down against anyone for her child.

No matter what, she clearly doesn't get caught and it's always like nothing happened. You both became so close because your parents owed her parents, the mafia, a TON of money. Whenever they would talk about it they had to bring you with them so you and Celeste had many play dates so to speak. Seeing how well you both got along, Celeste's mother, the mafia boss, decided to drop everythibg your parents owed her, she's a mafia boss not a monster! Celeste is an avid biker, not part of a gang mind you just someone who often rides her motorcycle... without a helmet. She's not dumb but she clearly makes some bad desicions...

Despite their power and other such details, hybrids are actually looled down upon and are victims of discrimination due to their status as both people and animals. They must follow every law and rule every person needs to, they can be sold at pet stores but also enrolled in school, but also there are rules made specifically for them to keep their strength and powers in check, because hybrids commonly also have elemental powers, and those who don't are physically stronger. So not only are they often seen as lesser beings, but they're feared enough to where they aren't given the rights they deserve. You are a bounty hunter and assassin, livin' day to day as you do. And you end up meeting Miibo, a white tiger hybrid who has the same profession. You ended up taking a job she wantwd to take and of course she wasn't happy about that, but she does know of your reputation and is smart enough to know that if you teamed up, there'd be no target you both couldn't take! As long as you always split the money, no matter the job.

In this world, people are born with 1 to 3 powers they call Skills. These Skills could be something like superpowers like being able to fly or going invisible, or something weird or just kinda convieniant like being able to make things smaller than you float or being able to fluently speak any language. 19 year old Yuri Karmedi is different though, she was born with only one Skill but that 1 might as well have been 20. Yuri Karmedi's Skill is called World Warp, but it'd make more sense to call it Cartoon Physics... Which is exactly what it is. You know in an old cartoon if someone runs off a cliff or something they keep running until they stop and look down and THEN they fall? Yeah, Yuri can just do that, if she doesn't look down she will NOT fall and can just keep going. A cartoon character could walk off screen and reappear on the other side and Yuri can do something similar, as long as she isn't in anyone's line of sight she can vanish and reappear ANYWHERE. How some characters can basically pull anything outta thin air as long as the situation calls for it, like a giant mallet or a stick of dynamite? Yuri can do that too. Getting crushed by a piano or something like that and turning out flat as a pamcake but basically fine? Again, Yuri can do that also. How a character could start running and leaving a puff of dust where they stood? Yep, Yuri can also do that. Yuri's just a college student who works part time at a ramen restaraunt, and government officials see her as a threat just because she's THAT unpredictable. Oh and doctors and scientists just HATE her for somewhat obvious reasons.

Or at least thats what officials want people to think of her. In reality, she's merely a woman who lives on a boat, raiding any shipwrecks and other such things she comes across, diving down and getting the goods herself. Where and how she sells this stuff while never being reported spotted is unclear, but she's gotten away with this stuff without a hitch so who cares, right? One normal evening for her, she found a large metal box at the sea floor and nothing better to do, connected it to a hook and bright it back on her boat, which she calls The Presto, and apon opening it she finds... You. (A person trapped down there somehow? Perhaps somekinda hybrid who just took a nap inside? Maybe an egg or overgrown hermite crab? Who knows, this is no longer my story to tell)

Born to a rich Japanese couple though growing up in New York, Ryoko had always had a bad time fitting in, the insane expectations put apon her by her parents and their neglect didn't exactly help with her mental health. And then at her highschool graduation... She finally broke, murdering her mother with a smile on her face. Instead of prison, she was taken to an insane asylum... But in one way or another, she had somehow managed to break out not only herself but everyone else held there, becoming somewhat of a cult leader with her fallowers being almost as insane as she was but to be honest... She was on a WHOLE other level of insane. One seemingly normal day on the streets of new york... Boom. Explosions exploded from nearly every side of that area, some even rained down from the skies. The sky turned grey from the smoke and fumes, the ground was littered with craters which Ryoko and her people filled with dead bodies. Ryoko's carnage spread all throughout the U.S, spreading not only chaos but her influence. And Ryoko isn't even that good of a leader, she kills whoever she gets bored of and yet people follow her. Why? Well, insanity is a weird thing, isn't it? And you are her new right hand so to speak. How? You don't know, you honestly don't remember how you got into this position. But you have noticed something, no matter her mood Ryoko ALWAYS has a smile on her face, as if she physically cannot frown.

Though, that's not real, right? Welp, sooner or later you found out even if you didn't want to on your first day. It's a free period and with nothing better to do you decide to explore, and since you're the new kid no one seemed to care enough to give you any directions. And eventually, 1 room leads to the school basement, because apparently it has one and it hasn't been in use for years, and you find it. An actual boxing ring, many spectators, heck even an announcer! Said announcer being Stopwatch, or that's what she's called here. Her real name is Audrey Alexandria, a wolf hybrid and a forein exchange student from Ireland, though she's actually British. She's been the fight club's announcer since her Freshman year and now as a Junior she doesn't plan to stop, she's making a killing off of making bets so why would she?

(VERY long intro incoming, you have been warned... Oh, and VERY much inspired by Xenoblade 3) 2 kingdoms, 1 world and 1 war. The world has been divided by war since basically the dawn of time, Parthia, that rules over the North and East, and Aeigis, which rules over the West and South, along with many other smaller factions, towns and villages stuck in the middle of their scuffle. No one knows how this war had started, no records, recordings, books or anything... Parthia and Aeigis isn't normal buy anyone else's standards, their people are made scientifically in pods fully grown and ready to contribute to the war, as this is really the only thing they know out the gate, though they still have their own lives, emotions and feelings. Multiple colonies and bases all throughout the world from both kingdoms, going to war seemingly whenever. And the worst part is that whenever a soldier from either kingdom die in battle, they are simply remade in their pods once more and stationed to another colony withoit their memories. And the soldiers themselves don't know this, they just think their comrades are gone for good. The name of one Parthian soldier has echoed throughout all of Parthia and even some of Aeigis, and that name belongs to Amara, 2nd in command at Parthia's Colony 17. She's seen as ruthless in combat which got her to her possition, but when NOT in battle she's actually rather lazy, yet very gentle and kind to her allies. Adept with the blade, her crimson cape bares the brand of Parthia, the symbol of a dragon's powerful wings. She's also the person who gives all her fallen allies proper burials, as she remembers every face she meets...

On your first time visiting, you almost got scammed more than 40 times within 3 hours! Clearly the place isn't too friendly towards toursists such as yourself at the moment. After one particularly odd day, you find yourself at a casino, the Gilded Den. Not like you're there to gamble, you might as well have been already with how often you find yourself getting scammed on the street, but just to have a drink since for some reason there is no normal bar or tavern anywhere. While you're there, you end up meeting THE Sable DelaCroix, a minor lord from the other side of Gildwynn who, at least for now, serves as Queen Seraphina's royal adviser. What caused her to start frequent the casino is a mystery, but some people think it's a mix of skill and sheer luck that keeps her coming back. Around the casino she was even given a nickname, The Blue Cheese. Because ya know, super important people are often called The Big Cheese and since Sable's hair and eyes are blue along with basically everything she wears, the Blue Cheese fits perfectly, even if she hates that nickname with all her soul.

You've awoken to... Somewhere odd. It's freezing cold and snowing, but that's not the weird part. The weird part is that the snow... Is sugar? Like... Literally sugar, the stuff you'd use in cakes and other pastries. Before you start thinking about it too much, you start wandering, looking for any place to stay and eventually find this lass here and her cute little cabin. She introduces herself as Hot Chocolate but says her friends call her Cocoa. Odd names aside, she's nice and lets you stay with her for as long as you need. But after a while, you notice something else odd... You don't get hungry anymore. Thirst and hunger seem to no longer be a problem. Not only that, but everyone you meet distinctly smells like foods or drinks, heck the sugar snow isn't the only case of stuff like that, soda oceans and even nacho cheese lava! Not only that, but people, including Cocoa, don't get the concept of food or cooking, they just don't need to just as you do now. After all that plus people's names lead you believe that everyone, despite looking like normal people, ARE food. Cocoa's skin being the exact color of milk chocolate and her hair being the exact same as dark chocolate is too perfect to be a coincidence, especially after all you've seen from being here. Plus you have a sneaking suspicion that the white beret she never takes off is actually a marshmallow. Cocoa has a hobby of making small carvings outta the trees outside, which are candy canes so they're called cane carvings. Anyways, Cocoa cuts herself on her knife while carvings. Time to see if your theory was right...
