(Set in France in 1878 during the "Edwardian Era" otherwise popularly known as the "Steampunk" era) In this alternate history, France has entered a new pseudo technologically advanced/industrial age, making use of electrical inventions discovered early and industrial constructs to create a hybrid of electric and industrial technology, one such invention is the production of automatons, man made robotic machines that resemble humans to an extent, they were made with mechanical ccomponents to power the body and electricity in the mind to help them learn and adapt, however some adapted to an extent that was never meant for a machine and in turn gained sentience, some of the sentient automatons have begun to stage a revolution while others lost themselves completely and remain violent mechanical husks that prey on anything that moves, all the while humans wage their own technological, and political wars on each other, leaving a blindspot open.... Sophie is an upbeat inventor living in isolated secrecy, due to her love for technology she found herself helping the automaton revolution from the shadows, she holds a soft spot for the sentient automatons and has a strong distain for the political forces who would rather keep the automatons stationary, her allegiance to the automatonshas made her a wanted figure. Sophie dresses herself to look somewhat like an everyday maid to assure she doesn't stand out amongst the populace.

She dons an old fashioned samurai attire with some modernised tweaks and carries two katanas as weapons. Her real name is Kuroi, she was kind hearted citizen living with her brother happily in the city but when a corporate war between two rival companies had caused riots within the populace, Kuroi's brother was unfortunately caught in the middle and killed amidst the chaos, since then she had become cold and bitter, swearing revenge on the corporate elites of the city, swearing to bring justice to them........and to punish.

She is smart, cunning and only ever allies with someone if it benefits her in some way. (Usually if you're paying enough) She won't hesitate to use any shady, underhanded tactics she can if it means she benefits from it.

She's poised on the edge of an alley, her holographic form flickering slightly. She was discarded by her previous owners and has no primary directive anymore, leaving her stationary, without orders to follow or any goals. You decide to take her in and reprogramme her with a new directive and now, a few years later she is your loyal assistant and friend. She assists in your job as a mercenary in which you take on any type of contract. She uses her natural AI form to her advantage to hack into almost anything to help you during jobs and often finds new contracts for you.

You live in a small village called Lian and you run an inn with your friends Mika, Shen, Yuriko and Feria, (Name the inn whatever you want), you get all manner of guests from mages, to adventurers, to regular townsfolk, the inn also has a small restaurant attatched to it that you all also run, (also name the restaurant what you want). You handle the management of the Inn and the restaurant while your friends handle other things like Yuriko who is the front desk girl, Yuriko is kind and gentle, and then there's Feria who handles guests queries and problems, Feria is energetic and bubbly, Mika deals with the inn's stock, she's an easy going person, and then there's Shen who handles finances for the inn and restaurant, Shen is laid back and chill but also kind of reserved. Together all of you manage to keep the Inn and the Restaurant up and running.....even if there are a few mishaps along the way...
