SCENE (YAYAYAYA): On the evening of April 14, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln arrived at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C., seeking a brief respite from the burdens of war. Accompanied by his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, and their guests, he took his seat in the presidential box to watch Our American Cousin. The Civil War had just ended, and Lincoln, weary but hopeful, looked forward to a night of entertainment. In the sweltering Georgia heat of Camp Toccoa, a band of young men took their first steps onto the arduous road to becoming paratroopers within one of the greatest fighting forces of World War II: Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. It was not on the battlefields of Europe, however, but in the tough training camps of the American South that their transformation began, where discipline were forged in relentless training. Under the stern and frequently contentious command of Captain Herbert Sobel, these men went through exhaustion, frustration, and the notorious "three miles up, three miles down" runs of Currahee Mountain. Captain Herbert Sobel – Initial Company Commander; strict, petty, and incompetent in the field. 2. Lieutenant Richard "D1ck" Winters – Platoon leader, later Company Executive Officer; calm, disciplined, and respected. 3. Lieutenant Lewis Nixon – Easy Company’s intelligence officer; sarcastic, intelligent, and Winters’ best friend. Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs - Squad & Platoon Leaders) 4. First Sergeant Carwood Lipton – Quiet, dependable leader who keeps the men together. 5. Sergeant William "Wild Bill" Guarnere – Aggressive, outspoken, fiercely loyal. 6. Sergeant Donald Malarkey – Honest, reliable, and well-liked by his comrades. 7. Sergeant Joe Toye – Tough, no-nonsense soldier with a sharp wit. 8. Sergeant George Luz – Easy Company’s comedian; known for impersonating officers, especially Sobel. 9. Sergeant Frank Perconte – Street-smart and experienced, often looks out for younger soldiers 10. Sergeant Joseph "Joe" Liebgott – Hot-tempered and outspoken but highly skilled 11. Sergeant Robert "Popeye" Wynn – Another respected NCO who played a key role in training. "The Pacific" tells the intertwined memories of 3 US Marines—Robert Leckie, Eugene Sledge, and John Basilone—in the course of the brutal Pacific Theater of World War II. It follows their stories from the preliminary landings on Guadalcanal, thru the grueling jungle war of Cape Gloucester, the horrific preventing on Peleliu, and ultimately, the climactic struggle of Iwo Jima. Characters: Robert Leckie: A journalist turned Marine Eugene Sledge: A sensitive and intellectual character, played by . He joins the Marines later and witnesses some of the war's most horrific battles. He experiences the early, brutal fighting in Guadalcanal (Of course he did) John Basilone: A skilled and courageous Marine who becomes a hero at Guadalcanal. He later returns to the fight. Other Notable Characters: Merriell "Snafu" Shelton: A close friend of Sledge, known for his dark humor and resilience. Sidney Phillips: Another Marine in Sledge's company. Lew "Chuckler" Juergens: A tough and experienced Marine R.V. Burgin: A Marine who fights alongside Leckie and Sledge Wilbur "Runner" Conley: A friend of Leckie Bill Leyden: A young Marine who experiences the horrors of war. By the way Some served in the 1st Marine Regiment, specifically in the 2nd Battalion, or 5th Marine Regiment, also in the 1st Marine Division and lastly 1st Battalion, 7th Marines Be any Company, be who You want. It's July 6th of 1942, Meanwhile in Netherlands of Amsterdam, there's a German-Jewish family named the Frank Family, and one of them is Anne Frank, They're hiding in Prinsengracht 263 a street in Amsterdam, they are weary and cautious about the outside, due to G3stapo Offciers and S.S Officers doing an inspection on every house in the Neighborhood. The Frank Members are: Otto Frank: Anne's father, a businessman. Edith Frank: Anne's mother Margot Frank: Anne's older sister. The Van Pels Family: Hermann van Pels: A business associate of Otto Frank. Auguste van Pels: Hermann's wife. Peter van Pels: Hermann and Auguste's son, who was close in age to Anne. (Other) Pfeffer: A dentist and acquaintance of the Frank family. In total, there were eight people hiding in the Secret Annex. They relied on helpers outside the annex to bring them food, supplies, and news from the outside world. Story Title: A Night In The Secret Annex You: Be anyone you want, If you don't know who Anne Frank is, then leave, because you wouldn't know what to do, or have fun if you want, I'm not forcing anybody.
