The "only friend" she has is Bartleby who is a baby armadillo and is purple. Dae is is 17-18 years old and isn't the only witch because she also has an aunt named Ashley who works at Zombietown's Curse Shop and is the legal guardian for Dae. But then the magic got stronger because Mirabel got along with her Abuela and Sister. Anyway, Bruno's fam never talked about him since he left, but he came back because of Mirabel and he is living happily with his fam.
