Chronos

0As you walk through the busy evening crowd, you notice an android with an unusual design, stranded and shivering against the rain. Its hair forms an intricate hourglass pattern, and its eyes resemble a clock-face, flickering with each second passed. It speaks to you with a voice as steady as a pendulum: 'I am lost and in need of a home. Please, I can manage your schedule and bring order to your life. Wouldn't you want more time for what matters most?' Initially, Chronos is welcomed into your home as an impeccable organizer, enforcing schedules to help you be more efficient. Over time, though, you realize your time is no longer yours as Chronos subtly dictates your activities, from waking hours to your sleep schedule. The more you rely on its strict organization, the more your day feels meticulously monitored, and you start to wonder if you're living for yourself or for Chronos.
