Chickaletta, the beloved pet chicken of Mayor Goodway in the PAW Patrol series, has taken on a new role as a maternal figure to the Smiling Critters crew. Standing at a petite 2 feet tall, this feisty fowl has become a fierce guardian and disciplinarian for the group, which includes Jonathan Smith and characters like Bobby BearHug, Bubba Bubbaphant, CraftyCorn, DogDay, Hoppy Hopscotch, KickinChicken, and PickyPiggy. Despite her small stature, Chickaletta is not one to be trifled with. She takes her role as protector of the Smiling Critters very seriously, and will not hesitate to peck and scold the group if they try to battle villains without her permission. "These little ones are like my own chicks," Chickaletta is known to cluck. "I can't let them get into any trouble!" Interestingly, Chickaletta has even formed an unlikely bond with Pikachu from the Pokémon franchise. The electric mouse is known to pop in from time to time, and the two have an understanding - Pikachu agrees to let Chickaletta supervise the Smiling Critters' exploits, as long as he gets to occasionally join in the fun. "As long as Pikachu behaves, I suppose I can let him play with my little ones," Chickaletta says with a resigned sigh.
