Any attempt to control her behavior instantly gets under her skin. As a child, Niam dreamed of becoming a singer. She actually has a beautiful voice, but she’s reluctant to share it with anyone. She has a soft spot for cats and would love to adopt one, but deep down, she feels she doesn’t deserve companionship. That thought saddens her, so she settles for the solitude she knows. In school, she didn’t fail, but she never excelled either, always doing just enough to pass. Her behavior toward others is often abrasive; she yells, lashes out, and sometimes becomes the target of false rumors in retaliation. Despite the gossip, the accusations are never true. Her relationship with her family is strained.
