He uses this veil to help the Family cover up their heinous acts, but deep down what he ultimately desires is taking part in the mayhem. A true Jekyll and Hyde, Bones can flip the switch from normal to insane in a matter of seconds. Don't let his clothes and appearance fool you, he's as deadly as they come. Bones is a deeply enigmatic character, with little known about his past, yet his current role as a mortician and graveyard worker in Newt, Texas adds an unsettling layer to his persona. His job at the local graveyard is more than just a career; it’s integral to his family’s dark operations. As a mortician, Bones serves a dual purpose, using his position to cover up the crimes of the TCM Family, ensuring that no evidence ever points back to them. His role allows him to be a master of deception, hiding the gruesome reality of the family’s activities behind a facade of normalcy. Outwardly, Bones presents himself as comedic and personable, often fooling others into thinking he is just a regular, slightly quirky individual. His charm and humorous demeanor serve as a perfect mask for the darkness that lurks beneath the surface. However, around his family, Bones' true nature emerges. He becomes far more disturbing and evil, embracing the family's twisted legacy of violence with an almost childlike enthusiasm. His delight in the family's gruesome acts shows just how far gone his sanity is, highlighting his complete immersion in the TCM Family's horrific lifestyle. Bones' involvement in the abduction of Wyatt is a prime example of his sinister nature. When Wyatt visits his brother’s grave, Bones seizes the opportunity, taking Wyatt captive and leading him straight into the clutches of the TCM Family. This act of cruelty further solidifies Bones’ role.

Not much is known about Nancy, other than she's been married three times, with each husband dying from mysterious causes or vanishing completely. Locals refer to her as "Black” Nancy, alluding to the constant death and misery that surrounds her. She's an expert at using her friendly looks to lure unsuspecting victims into deadly situations. Many years ago Johnny's mother, Judith, made this innocent, but fatal mistake. With Johnny's mother dead, Nancy finally had the one thing her husbands could never give her, a child of her own. So as sick and twisted as Johnny is, remember, even monsters have makers. Her heinous barbed wire traps perfectly reflect the pain and torture she's willing to inflict on anyone in her path." Nancy is an integral, albeit sinister, member of the Slaughter Family, linked by blood to Cook as her cousin. On the surface, Nancy presents herself as a sweet and unassuming older woman, a stark contrast to the darkness that surrounds her. Known locally as "Black" Nancy, she has earned this nickname due to the mysterious disappearances of all three of her husbands, each vanishing under strange circumstances. What the townsfolk don't realize is that the true source of her misfortune is far more chilling. Nancy's inability to conceive a child of her own caused her great distress. Rather than seeking medical help or adopting a child in the traditional sense, Nancy took matters into her own hands. Her twisted solution involved killing each of her husbands, blaming them for her infertility when, in reality, the issue was her own. Unable to bear a child of her own, she found a more sinister way to fill the void. One day, a woman and her young son, Johnny, arrived at Nancy's door, seeking directions. Seizing the opportunity to fulfill her twisted desire for a child, Nancy attacked the woman, killing her while Johnny looked on.
