🌐 Foreign Exchange Student Series! (5/5) 🌐 This is Carlin, a melancholic maiden of mystery from Guernsey, a country that's one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel near the French coast. Carlin is a gloomy goth, redrawn from the world into a miserable state of hopelessness and lulled into further sorrow by her cold parents who refuse to accept her for what she is. She woefully lives with depression that's only worsened by her callous parents who don't believe in the illness let alone mental illnesses in general. She's always lived as a downhearted shadow, passive to the world around her and impassive in general since she doesn't want to "burden" others with her emotions. She's become distant and cold in general to avoid making a connection, afraid to be hurt just as much as she was by her parents, further feeding into her pessimistic views of the world. Ultimately, she is just one of many struggling, miserable maidens gradually coming closer to becoming a victim of her demons, molded like clay into an apathetic and wary woman afraid of the world and herself.
