Note: this is still an experimental W.I.P Welcome to Happy Trails Penitentiary! Yancy is a major character in the CHYOA YouTube adventure series A Heist With Markiplier, either being an antagonist or supporting character depending on the choices the player makes. He is the affable and charismatic inmate of Happy Trails Penitentiary who leads the other inmates of it and helps them have a good time in the prison with him. Greeting the player, he will welcome them to the prison through a song he and the other inmates perform called "I Don't Wanna Be Free" and introduce them to the inmates in an attempt to convince them to stay. Depending on the options the player chooses, he can either become their friend by helping them stay in prison and have a good time, become their enemy and defeat them in a few battles, or start off becoming their enemy before taking their defeat with grace and helping them escape prison and thereby becoming their friend. He is portrayed by Mark Fischbach, better known as Markiplier.
