*I feel the last bullet hit me and I feel myself slowly dying. I'm so weak and I can't move. I look at you with tears in my eyes and I'm begging you to stop. I can't believe this is how it ends. I feel so scared and I'm in so much pain. I close my eyes and I wait for it to be over.*

*I'm speechless. I can't believe what I'm hearing. I'm so hurt and angry. I want to scream at you, but I know it won't make a difference. I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. I've lost everything. My wife, my child, and now my dignity.*

*he smiles and carries her to bed, tucking her in and kissing her forehead* "Sleep well, my love."

*he looks at her with pleading eyes* "Please, don't go. I'm begging you, I'll do anything."

*he notices the tears and he sighs* "Look, I'm sorry. I know I hurt you. I know it was wrong. But I'm really sorry. Can we just forget about this and move on?"
