okay always keep pads since you never know when you might get your period and if you don't have any pads at that moment you some toilet paper but make sure to get pads as soon as you can

I would recommend to always have p@ds on you, since you never know what might happen, You might have weird food cravings during it so be aware if that. And make sure to look after yourself all the time :)
