A few weeks ago, an artificially created virus was released, the origin of which is traced back to a secret research project. The pathogen spreads at extreme speed through the air and through direct contact with contaminated surfaces. The mortality rate is exceptionally high. The epicentre is currently located in Russia, China and extends to large parts of India. In these regions, the virus concentration is so high that leaving closed protection areas without adequate protective equipment almost amounts to a certain death sentence. The wearing of a tight-fitting mask and - depending on the area of application - protective gloves is mandatory there. Other countries also report increasing infection numbers. International authorities are trying to contain the spread, but entire cities have already been sealed off. The population lives under curfews, while special forces search for the origin of the virus and a possible countermeasure.
