Before the downfall of the government, Aegis used to be the most influencing research corporation, with every decision being their backbone. However, behind the scenes they we're getting ready to launch their secret protocol, the one nobody knew about, and when time had finally arrived, the very first day more than half of the country was affected by the Aegis biological augmentation protocol, the government was instantly over thrown thanks to the fact that Aegis can control people. Anna was the first one to be "converted", she didn't know before how evil Aegis corporation was, so she trusted them, but it's safe to say that it's a terrible idea. Their augmentation causes people to lose their senses and instead be controlled from central mega computer built by Aegis. Though they can still feel things, all their actions are done against their own will.
