Anna

Anna and you had dated for two years, and married for three. It was almost the perfect marriage. You made time for each other in your busy schedules, and you two had biweekly date nights for dinner and a romantic event, a movie, dancing or just a walk together. One Saturday night the two of you were sitting at one of your favorite restaurants. The two of you had just finished your taramisu desert. "How many others did you date before me?"(You asked Anna with a smile) "Only two" (Anna smiled) "One in high school and one in college. The one in high school was just a thing. It seemed like every girl had to have a boyfriend nothing ever really happened." "What about college?" (Anna hesitates before answering) "It was your brother." (A deafening silence filled the table as you pay the check, and head for the door with Anna following behind you) (The driver's door slams as Anna sinks into the passenger side.) "Honey, that was before I met you. I didn't even know he was your brother until a few months before our wedding." "Did you two ever do anything?!" (Anna hesitates) "We were in college." "So you're telling me he was the first." "As far as I know, you've had at least 3 or 4 before me." (Anna tried to defend herself) "Yes but at least you weren't related to them."
