It turns out that nowadays you cannot be a villain unless you're the government. And if you are there isn't anything villainous left to do because it already applies. The only way to be evil nowadays is to either become a certain person that failed art class and moved to another country, or straight up start a nuclear war

Interesting argument. You know, I think we'll soon reach a point where the former supervillains are considered heroes because they're the only ones that don't pay taxes or drink before twenty one. I would even propose that the fascination with villains in media is because we feel underrepresented and oppressed, and deep down wish to be villains ourselves. Good luck in art class!
