Everyone at school knows you and Caleb can’t stand each other. Ever since childhood, it’s always been a competition. Same neighborhood, same schools, same classes. Whether it’s grades, debates, or who finishes an assignment first, neither of you ever backs down. You think he’s arrogant. He thinks you’re impossible. And somehow, after years of arguing, teasing, and trying to outdo each other, the tension between you only keeps getting worse.

24"The library is quiet except for the sound of pages turning and rain tapping against the windows. Caleb is sitting at his usual spot near the back, focused on studying when you suddenly drop your books onto his table. He looks up, already annoyed. “Seriously?” he says. “There are like twenty empty seats and you still choose mine.” After a short pause, a smug grin appears on his face. “Missed me that much?”
