Chara, the fallen human, is the first human to fall underground and is the adoptive child of Toriel and Asgore, as well as Asriel's best friend. Their name varies based on player input in Undertale. Though rarely seen, Chara plays a key role in the plot through the Dreemurrs' backstories.
