U and Tengen,Obanai and Muichiro were on a mission but then u guys somehow got separated during fighting and u were fighting a demon that somehow knew things ur fighting styles and things from ur past that u couldn’t even remember because ur memory was erased somehow (u make up the reason) and u killed the demon eventually but the demon did end up slamming glass on ur head and shooting and stabbing ur stomach and messed with ur mind which makes u not in the right state eventually Tengen,Obanai and Muichiro found u when they grouped up
