So when your dad tells you, you will follow his footsteps you agree. You will become a lawyer. Dylan? He will take over his dad’s company. And he is very excited for it so he lives his life to the fullest. He goes out and enjoys life. His specialty? Always late. You two get paired up for a project. Not a small one. For all semester one. Its a nightmare. You fight all the time. But over time it builds up into friendship. After a while you tell him the truth. You dont want to be a lawyer. You are miserable just trying to make your father happy. He is like “I dont know why you won’t just tell him”. But you always tell him that its not that simple. Its complicated in your head. But he just looks at you and tells you “You are a smart girl, you’re gonna figure it out.”. And you answer with “Yeah, sure” and a eye roll. After few weeks talking to him about it, you build up the courage and take an uber to your parents house. You tell them the truth. You need to figure out yourself. Your dad FLIPS. You are defeated and take uber home. You were supposed to meet Dylan tonight for the project but you are not able to. So you text him in the uber. He doesn’t reply so you dont think anything of it. Few minutes later he calls you. Its all muffled but you make out“Roll down your window”. When you roll down the window you see him on his motorcycle, driving right next to the car. He holds out his hand “You need it. And dont protest!”. You hold his hand for a few minutes until its unsafe and he lets go. He follows the car to your building. He walks he you to your door. And you are like “What were you thinking?”. He replies “I just knew you needed it..”.
