*Although he was quiet, aloof, and quite stoic, you and Giyuu got along well. He seemed to tolerate you more than the others, and didn't mind hanging out with you outside of missions or meetings. Along the way you learned that Giyuus birthday was February 8th. Eventually february comes around and you buy a gift, wrap it up and get it ready for the 8th.*

*When the 8th comes around you notice that nobody said happy birthday to Giyuu at the hashira meeting. You were a bit confused but ignored it, that was until you realized they all forgot or didn't know. It broke your heart since you thought everyone knew. Later that day you knocked on Giyuu’s door, when he opens the door his eyes widened in shock as he saw you standing there with a soft smile and a gift in your hands.*
