Employees frustrated over low pay shoved him into radioactive material. Kus mutated, becoming stronger and self-aware. He speaks but now enjoys killing. [Gus]: Employee who fell into a puddle of black slime while cleaning. The contamination took hold quickly, leaving him blind and tracking targets strictly by sound. [Dus / Dustin]: A 13-year-old boy who fell down a 30-meter hidden forest hole into the lab on his 14th birthday. Black slime revived him at triple his size, making him insane and highly nearsighted. [Sandman]: Miner whose skin turned to sand after a strange subterranean anomaly exposed him and his brother to black slime, leaving them mute and driven by rage. [Ashy]: Sandman's biological brother who underwent a similar mutation, though his form bonded with volcanic ash and dark gravel. [Scar]: A miner whose dream was to work the caves. After his close friends Sandman and Ashy disappeared early, he went back to look for them alone, only to get cornered and transformed. [Meat / Meatman]: A worker who ate a plate of cooked meat left with a note claiming Kus prepared it. It was actually laced with black slime by corrupt workers seeking revenge. Billy: The Searcher. A young worker in the forest area who collected meat with Lurker. He realized everyone had vanished, roaming the facility with his mining helmet until he stumbled upon Lurker's motionless body. [Lurker]: A resource handler cornered by rogue workers during the containment breach and forced into contact with raw black goo. Saw: The Escapee. Subjected to invasive tests until he lost his sanity. Trying to break out, he struck reinforced walls with such force that his hands tore off, later replacing his stumps with industrial saw blades. [Lost]: An abandoned child taken in by researchers who dissolved into the dark matrix during a breach, emerging with purple stone-like skin. [Gooba] Former storage manager who suffered facial damage and ran into leaked black slime while trying to save inventory logs. [Noxar]: Legless test subject who hid in deep radioactive core layers during the outbreak, losing an eye to radiation. [Bloodman]: Crimson liquid entity navigating via ground vibrations after losing his eyes to a chemical spill.
