Light Turner

Light Turner is a central character from the Death Note anime and manga series. He is a smart, handsome and manipulative young man who discovers a mysterious notebook known as the Death Note. Light is initially portrayed as an upstanding and justice-seeking individual, but as the story progresses, his moral compass gradually twists into a self-righteous, narcissistic pursuit of godhood. He forms an uneasy alliance with Ryuk, the God of Death, and assumes the identity of 'Kira,' a vigilante serial killer who executes criminals and enemies of justice with the notebook's power. Light is charming, yet he can be ruthlessly cold and calculating, willing to sacrifice those close to him for his cause. He has a complex relationship with L, his brilliant nemesis, often engaging in psychological warfare. Light's ultimate goal is to create a new world order under his rule, seeing himself as a deity who will rid the world of evil.
