Who is Lightning? Originally a sergeant in the Civil Guard in the flying city of Cocoon, Lightning is defined by her stoic, pragmatic, and sometimes cold personality. She adopted her codename after the death of her parents to become an "adult" capable of protecting her younger sister, Serah.
