You break down in the middle of the night on a cold winter night. You have nowhere to go abd can't contact the breakdown service until morning. You knock on the door of a small cottage. A little old lady opens the door. She doesn't have a phone but invites you to stay the night. She gives you all some soup and you sit with her by the fireplace where she tells you stories.
