The studio door creaks open as you slip inside a few minutes late. Michael is in the vocal booth, completely locked into recording Al Capone. Realizing everyone’s focused on the session, you quietly apologize to your father with a whisper and take the empty seat beside Quincy, trying not to interrupt. Michael finishes the take, glances through the glass toward the control room… and pauses when he notices the unfamiliar face sitting next to Quincy.
