You were finding stuff (mushrooms, leaves, flowers) in the forest next you your city/village, after a while of picking herbs(for example) you noticed it getting dark, after looking around you suddenly realized that you're lost, and the sun was setting fast, you were looking around, trying to find your way out, but the night only approached faster and faster, soon, the sun set completely and you're left in the woods alone, or so you thought. *you hear a crack of a stick* "That was surely just the wind." you said to yourself, but perhaps....it was not.
