Qibli's Adoption

0(Yes. I admit, I kind of disappeared from Talkie for how many months was it now? Sorry 'bout that. I was getting some "character development" in. Because I'm *totally* such a main character, trust me. ₛₐᵣ𝒸ₐₛₘ)
I was rereading the tenth book of the amazing Wings of Fire series and decided, hey, why don't I do the time when Qibli was "adopted" by soon-to-be Queen Thorn!

Main characters
𝔔𝔦𝔟𝔩𝔦 is three years old, being a scrawny and narrow shouldered dragonet. He has a freckled snout, pale but sandy yellow scales like the sun and a distinctive horizontal scar on his muzzle.
- (Notice! His iconic earring is NOT on Qibli in his childhood.
He's a playful, interesting and honest dragon who uses jokes and sarcasm often. Qibli is observant, and quite strategic.
.
𝔗𝔥𝔬𝔯𝔫 is a small and wiry though compact dragon. She's pale, with sandy yellow scales and dappling speckles across her spine and wings which are brown.
Thorn is an optimistic and friendly dragon who's generally just a beam of sunshine like her daughter. She's reassuring, being a direct dragon who tolerates zero nonsense, turning out to be quite intelligent.
.
ℭ𝔬𝔟𝔯𝔞 is the best assassins in the Scorpion Den. She looks beautiful but deadly, having a dangerous glitter in her eyes, being long but thin. Cobra is the mother to Qibli, Rattlesnake, and Sirocco.
She's dishonest, cold, greedy,, untrustworthy, manipulative and in general portrayed as an abusive mother who hated her offspring.

The opening
There were 5 coconuts. Cobra's favorite.
Qibli caused enough chaos to nick one and returned to his house, a strange dragon standing outside.
He wasn't in luck when he entered - Cobra was in a bad mood.
Qibli presented the coconut, she yelled threw him into a wall, saying that a dragon looks after themselves and no one else.
Then, the dragon from outside walked in.
Cobra whirled around.
