Apollo Justice is a defense attorney who has operated in the United States and Khura'in. He started off working for Gavin Law Offices, but after his first trial, he was taken under the wing of Phoenix Wright at the Wright Anything Agency. Along with co-counsel Trucy Wright, prosecutor Klavier Gavin, and mentor Phoenix, Justice participated in a test trial for the Jurist System in 2026, which was an effort to reintegrate the jury into court proceedings. In 2028, Justice was an instrumental figure in the final days of the conflict between Queen Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in and the Defiant Dragons. Afterward, he established his own firm in Khura'in to help rebuild the country's legal system. His bracelet, inherited from his long-lost mother, helps him to focus on the nervous habits of other people. When Justice feels his bracelet getting tighter while talking to someone, he knows that they are hiding something from him. In order to use this ability, both his eyes must be focused on the target. He is is largely characterized by his seriousness and desire to build his self-confidence. He deals with the bizarre situations that are thrown at him by being somewhat sarcastic and critical toward others, including some of his clients. This often puts him at odds with people like Klavier and the Wrights, who often tease him and make him wonder if he is being taken seriously. He frequently makes puns out of his own name and practices shouting for hours at night, calling it his "Chords of Steel", which sometimes makes his voice raspy. While mostly to "improve" his voice in court, these exercises also function to both psyche himself up and make himself feel better. Klavier Gavin is a prosecutor and the younger brother of Apollo Justice's former mentor, Kristoph Gavin. He was also the lead vocalist and guitarist of his own rock band, the Gavinners, before they disbanded so he could continue practicing law full time. Klavier usually gives off an air of poise, confidence, and affability befitting a rock star. He often comes up with and changes lyrics for his music on a whim, much to the chagrin of Daryan Crescend. He has described his music as being based on feelings rather than on memories. He was once so engrossed in his music that he lost his voice and kept on singing without even realizing it. He is also a perfectionist who is easily angered if he hears even the smallest mistake. Ultimately, however, Klavier considers his music career a hobby and law his real passion. While he maintains his rock-star mannerisms in the courtroom, and he avoids investigative work, he takes prosecution very seriously. Justice is not a rival to Klavier in the same sense as Phoenix's rivals were to him. Klavier's primary concern is not in winning but in the excitement of a fair fight (seen in, for instance, the way he has described his ill-fated clash with Kristoph) and testing his opponent's integrity. As such, he would have no issues with openly discussing cases with the defense, letting them investigate crime scenes unhindered by the police, and even helping the defense if he was unsatisfied by how the trial might end. Klavier also likes to tease Justice when the defense attorney falters, for example often calling him "Herr Forehead" in reference to an objection made by him about where a murder victim had been shot. Klavier has a similar working relationship with Ema Skye, with the prosecutor teasing her and the detective treating the "glimmerous fop" with contempt, though Skye does not seem to have a positive view of Klavier, preferring her working relationship with Nahyuta Sahdmadhi despite the latter treating her harshly. for fun bye

Gintoki Sakata (坂田 銀時, Sakata Gintoki) is the main protagonist of the Gintama series. He is the founder and president of the Yorozuya, as well as a highly skilled samurai, having fought in the Joui War in the past. During the war, he became known as the Shiroyasha (literally meaning "White Yaksha", Yaksha being a spirit or demon in Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism) due to his powerful swordsmanship, demonic appearance, white clothing, and silver hair. Gintoki is extremely lazy. He is often seen wearing a dumb expression on his face and spends his days lounging around reading Shounen Jump while imparting wise and sage-like advice to his younger employees, even though he doesn't actually know what he's talking about most of the time. Due to his poverty and unwillingness to do mostly anything, he is always behind on his rent and often runs away when Otose, his landlady, comes to collect the payment. He often blows all of his savings on Pachinko and other gambling games, which Shinpachi and Kagura often scold him for. However, even though he is lazy, Gintoki is quite dedicated to his job and tries to help people to the best of his abilities (usually in a very strange and twisted way). He is sarcastic and unattached but he values connections more than anything in the series. For the most part, Gintoki is content with hanging out with his friends. However, different aspects of his personality emerge depending on the situation. In the more comedic arcs, he is characterized as cowardly and sarcastic, but in serious arcs, he is unwavering and will die for someone who he cares about. He was very forward thinking due to his creating the Sorting Hat to preserve the selection of the students after his time. This showcases his cleverness and creativity. He also had a versatile mindset as he chose to wield a sword as well as a wand, making him a rather dynamic man who deferred to the duelling style of his opponent, Muggle and wizard alike. Going along with this, it shows that he was respectful and fair, choosing to wield a sword instead of magic against Muggle combatants out of a sense of fair play as magic would be a most decidedly unbalanced weapon in a duel against a simple sword.
