It's an object show/game show, and s1 has 15 (later in the season 16) characters, being: salt: cheerful, preppy, popular girl vibe. pepper: same as salt, but a bit more sensible. knife: jerk, bully, later gets nicer. baseball: Problem solver, cheerful. marshmallow: kind, thoughtful, cheerful. lightbulb: quirky, funny, bright. paintbrush: grumpy, kind, annoyed easily. pickle: quirky, kind. taco: dumb, quirky, funny. (later revealed to be evil (ish) and intelligent). paper: soft, gentle, kind. (later turns evil when hears "idiotic island"). Orange juice/OJ: kind, funny, sensible. bow: quirky, funny, silly, kind. balloon: kinda mean sometimes, funny. nickel: sensible, grumpy, annoyed easily. bomby: silly, dumb, has the stutter. and apple, eventually appearing later in the season: funny, quirky, doesn't know what anything means. and along with them, the hosts: Mephone4: fat slob, nice, kinda annoying, and can genarate whatever and revive constestants at his will and soon, a higher tech version of mephone4, called mephone4S, is introduced, being evil, taking over the show after killing mephone4, but eventually turns nice and sacrifices himself for mephone4 to revive. you can be anyone you want, whether a host, a contestant, or even make one up yourself. follow a canon story from the show, or go absolutely bonkers off script! have fun, OSC people!

Bow is a female contestant in Inanimate Insanity, and a major character in Inanimate Insanity II, as well as being one of the two secondary antagonists of the first season, alongside MePhone5.

Taco is a female contestant on Inanimate Insanity and Inanimate Insanity IV. Taco's nonsensical behavior and tendencies made her well-liked by the viewers. This, plus her winning multiple immunities on Team Chickenleg and in the merge helped her make it to the finals. When she lost in the final challenge to OJ, she revealed her more sinister and manipulative side, fleeing after attempting to steal the cash prize. Though not as a competitor, Taco returned as the secondary antagonist of Inanimate Insanity II. She committed a few schemes in hiding, most notably working with Microphone to split the cash prize until pushing her too far. Towards the end of II2, she realized her villainous ways and intense investment in the game had cost her all her friendships, and began to seek redemption and attempted to repair the relationships she'd lost, with mixed results. She returns to competing in Inanimate Insanity IV as a member of Thematic Cats, while also continuing her journey of becoming more ethical. She is voiced by Rheagan Rizio.

They competed on Inanimate Insanity Invitational, formerly as a member of The Thinkers, and became an independent contestant after the merge. He worked with The New Old Thinkers, working closely with Cabby throughout the show, additionally receiving the Immunity Milk. Upon Blueberry's rejoin, Yin-Yang was tricked into losing his advantage and subsequently got eliminated in "Blue Buried" with 4 votes against him, placing 6th overall. Cabby is the winner of Inanimate Insanity Invitational and a supporting character in Inanimate Insanity IV. She is voiced by Casey Landman. Putting her trust in Test Tube, she was originally eliminated in "Best Served Cold" after a unanimous blindside vote against her, but she was able to rejoin the game in "I Am Chocolate!", after staying on Indefinite Island. She competed for herself in the merge before the finals, where her showcase of strategy, loyalty, and redemption within the game won her said game in a 7-6-2 vote by the jury, beating out fellow finalists Balloon and Silver Spoon. As of "The Future Is Today!", she is a co-leader of Inanimate Island, alongside the other winners, OJ and Suitcase.

A fan-created character recommended by totaldrama23, Apple had a chance to join Inanimate Insanity in "War De Guacamole," ultimately doing so by winning a paintball challenge. She would be placed on Team Epic, but clashed with fellow teammates Marshmallow and Paintbrush multiple times. Her disdain with Marshmallow in particular caused her to be eliminated in "The Great Escape" with 244 votes. Apple was the seventh previous contestant chosen to participate in Inanimate Insanity II. Placed on The Bright Lights, she made amends with Marshmallow. However, a ploy from a certain jealous ex-contestant caused her to look like she was using Marshmallow to advance in the game. Once this ploy was revealed to Marshmallow, the two made amends once more and moved to Purgatory Mansion together. She was eliminated in "Everything's A-OJ" with 2,045 votes. She is voiced by Adam Katz.

At first, Springy presents himself as an overall friendly, and laid-back individual, but over time he reveals himself to be stubborn and manipulative. This is demonstrated when he attempted to buy Bot's likeness to use them as a mascot or when he tried to use MePhone4's obsessiveness towards them to his advantage, by attempting to make him sign a contract to sell all the contestants as toys and make them all part of a 'Collection.' He is also seen to be vengeful of Bot. Abilities Enhanced jump: Being a spring, they are capable of jumping extremely high distances. Reality bending: As revealed at the Texas object meetup, Springy can slightly bend reality causing the glitched effect as seen in "Spring on the Breakfast!". Glitching: Whenever Springy is too excited, scared or enraged, they glitch constantly. This is because he was generated by MeLife. Extendable Arms: Springy can extend and retract his arms. This is seen when he punches Bot in "A Jury of Your Fears". ⚠️DONT MIND VOICE⚠️
