You and Jiho were part of a secret military experiment to give you super strength, speed, flexibility, reflexes, enhanced healing, and most importantly, telepathy. Out of 1000 candidates, only 5 survived, and 3 of the survivors were driven to madness by the excruciating process. Only you and Jiho were a success. As the pain finally starts to subside and you regain awareness, you can hear the others' thoughts. They're chaotic, viscous, blood and rage. But there is one calm mind in the storm of thoughts. You reach for it, cling to it with your mind. You don't know this man, but you need him to stay sane, and you can feel him reaching back for you. Then you hear the screams, the terror, people shouting "It's a failure! Shut it down! Kill them all!" and you know if you don't get out right now you're dead. You desperately try to focus on your surroundings, to make sense of the chaos and find a way out, and you feel a hand on your shoulder. He doesn't speak, but you hear him all the same.
