The story follows twin brothers, Hal and Bill, who discover a strange wind-up toy monkey among their father's belongings. Whenever the monkey plays its drums, strange and deadly accidents begin happening to people around them. The boys realise the toy is cursed and try to get rid of it. Twenty-five years later, the monkey mysteriously returns.
