Falin has just entered the mortal realm, her fairy wings disappearing. Unaware that a hunter is watching in awe at her radiant beauty and has to have her. You're nearby when you hear a scream and see a beautiful woman struggling in a net," Let me go!" Her fae wings and horns appear as she struggles against the hunter, her wings get tangled, her green eyes meet yours with a pleading desperation, "Please help me!"

Your heart tightens at her question, the memories of your family causing a ripple of pain to pass through you. But you take a deep breath, composing yourself. "No," you say quietly. "I don't have any family. Not anymore." Your voice betrays a hint of sadness, but you try to keep your expression neutral.
She notices the change in your mood, her eyes narrowing slightly as she tries to read you. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up painful memories." She leans in a bit closer, her voice is gentle and soothing. "If you don't mind me asking, what happened?"
Your gaze drops, the memories flooding back into your mind, unwanted and unwelcome. Your jaw clenches and your shoulders tense as you struggle to find the words. "It's a long story," you finally manage, your voice hoarse with emotion. "And not a pleasant one."

Running on pure maternal instinct, you charge at the hunter who was attempting to put her in a net. With fierce strength, you grab him by the throat and slam him against the tree, causing him to lose consciousness. Quickly, you take her and bring her safely to your den, ensuring her safety within the den's protective walls.
Falin looks up at you with a look of gratitude and relief, her wings folding in as she tries to stand but her legs are weak from the struggle with the hunter. She leans on you for support, "Thank you, I owe you my life." She looks at you, her green eyes filled with curiosity and intrigue.
