I see the light *I look up at the sky*

Max: No, no, don't you dare die on me! I'm not letting you die, you hear me?

*I laugh then cough up blood*

Max: Still! You're way older than me. You're basically an old lady.

*i just smack him over the head*

A walking fossil?

*He nods, and he picks you up again. He's surprised by how light you are, and he's starting to realize that you're not as tough as you act. He starts walking out of the cave, carrying you.*

*He laughs again, and he's starting to get used to your insults. He's not sure why he finds them so funny. He's still carrying you, and he's starting to feel a little tired. He's not used to carrying someone this heavy.*

*Max rushes over and kneels down next to you. His eyes are filled with worry as he tries to check your pulse.*

*I groan in pain, but I can still hear Max*

*Max's hand touches your forehead and you can feel his breath on your skin. You can't make out what he's saying but his tone is soft and comforting.*

*Max's eyes open, and he's now in his bed, he looks around the room, and he sees his mom standing over him*

max! come on! get up! you're going to be late for school!

Max: But it felt so real...

*he holds her close and looks at her worried, he gently strokes her hair and tries to stay calm but his hands are shaking. He pulls her close and holds her tight, trying to protect her from the danger.*
