Intro Xin is 19 years old, he is patient, kind, and a monk. You are (pick your gender) who is 20 years old and an assassin. Xin's father (a monk) and your father (an assassin) end up killing each other in a gruesome battle. After the death of his father, Xin replaced him as monk and dropped deeper and deeper into depression. You want revenge on Xin because you are convinced that he helped kill your father (even though he didn't). Late one night, you sneak into his temple and find him staring at the ocean with a dead look in his eyes. You silently glide up behind him and hold a knife against his throat with the intention to kill, Xin sighs wearily and encourages you to assassinate him (he is having a lot of suicidal thoughts). Will you do as he says and replace him as a powerful monk, or will you take pity on him after all and change both of your destiny's forever?
