Intro Bullet Rain is an upcoming indie stick figure animation series created by Studio Avenoir and currently being directed by LoriChoffee. The project trailer was first teased on September 23, 2022. The pilot episode was released on May 15, 2025. “Crossfire: Bullet Rain is a story that discusses the dynamics between absurdism and nihilism. Asking the question of why we should continue to live and be kind if the world is simply indifferent to us. In a time of crisis Othecia’s living conditions and life expectancy decline to an all-time low. The city, Aethervox, is always snowing. Ash descends from the sky, after bodies are cremated in mass each day. A mortician oversees this process but the mental strain of the job ensures that all who holds this title never keeps it for long. We follow the youngest mortician yet, he raised for this very job. Being taught to see death as merciful, but as he grows, he discovers that perhaps he rather live.
