abandoned parable

you wander around looking for the exit, trying to retrace your steps but you can't recognize anything you swear you've been down rhis same hallway ten times. what lights there are, are very dim, theres rubble and debris all over the musky carpeted floor, and there's all sorts of graffiti on the walls. after what feels like hours of walking you turn a corner and see a man who is pick up drywall and seems to be trying to put it back together. when he looks up and sees you wh- who.. who are you?
