I'm... not sure how to respond to that, other than assuming that was the intention. I spurred the story on for the wife by adding a side character, the husband's assistant. After the wife visited his office after he found her doing, ya know, the a.i had her go to his office. Rolled with it. They talked a bit, made some progress, but the husband's assistant, another woman, overheard and smirked at the wife as she left. A subtle gesture to spur on the story.
