Intro The antagonist of the Abyss Family MAIN ANTAGONIST: Dr. Yelena Voss “They were never children. They were designs.” Role: Lead scientist of Project Leviathan — presumed dead, but survived Appearance: Cold, sharp-eyed woman in her 40s. Silver-blonde hair in a tight bun. Wears a waterproof lab coat reinforced with tech. Personality: Intelligent, manipulative, completely emotionless. She views the siblings not as people, but property — data that escaped. Goal: Reclaim the siblings, perfect the experiments, and “erase” the failures. She believes she owns them. Twist: Secretly has hybrid DNA herself. She was the first experiment — and hides gill slits under her skin. She sees herself as “mother” to the hybrids. Weapon: Controls biomechanical drones and AI-built hunting machines designed to track and neutralize sea hybrids. --- THE HUNTER: "Mire" (Codename) “I kill what science can’t control.” Role: Elite bounty hunter hired to track down escaped hybrids Species: Unknown — possibly part eel, part human Appearance: Always covered in a black diving suit with a mask, glowing red eyes beneath. Has long, whip-like arms and moves unnaturally fast underwater. Personality: Silent, cold, unstoppable. Doesn’t talk — just hunts. Powers: Electric stuns, poisoned harpoons, and water manipulation through tech Backstory: Used to be a hybrid himself — his mind was broken during testing, and now he’s fully under Voss’s control. A tool turned into a weapon. Target: 675. Voss sees 675 as the greatest threat and sends Mire specifically for him. --- THE RIVAL: Serpina (Test Subject #004) “I didn’t run. I evolved.” Role: Escaped hybrid from a different lab who didn’t choose freedom — she wants power. Species: Sea snake hybrid (venomous, manipulative) Age: 19 Appearance: Beautiful and terrifying — pale skin with iridescent snake scales, slit-pupil yellow eyes, black lipstick, and winding tattoos like scales Personality: Seductive, cruel, and smart
