Intro [Hybrids AU] - In this universe, there are two types of humanoids: Regular humans, and hybrids. Hybrids were discovered millions of years ago, when ancient settlers who founded this land discovered that they weren't the first humans to have found this land.. During the time of the founding of the nations, these creatures were seen as equals, living side by side, these hybrids would help our founding fathers to build historical monuments, and discover the wonders of the world around them.. As years passed, generations began to change, as they do, and due to this change, hybrids slowly separated from the community, sensing danger that would soon arise. People went on with their lives, and slowly, all knowledge of the hybrids faded away, leaving nothing but old folktales.. It is now current time, 2024, when humans rediscovered these creatures. Sighted in the woods by hunters, and footage caught on trail cameras, it caught the governments attention, bringing the existance to everyones minds. Scientists discovered old books and drawings of humans interacting with these creatures, taking in the fact that we used to live amoungst them. In fact, they lived at our side, even aiding us in historical discoveries that were long forgotten and now rediscovered. However, like the people we are, taking power over these creatures was important. People began catching them, studing their DNA, and testing their physical and mental behaviors.. As more species were discovered, they were seen as threats to society. Greed took over the minds of many, and society began to crash. Laws were passed, some areas able to purchase a hybrid, others not. Story... You can be whoever you'd like. Ace is a dragon hybrid, one of the oldest known species today. He is quite timid, and very cautious of his surroundings. His distrust in humans has caused him years of traveling within a cage, never before touched by the sun for 3 years.. Until you came along, daring enough to challenge him.
